Got this absolutely beautiful Seki-made SOG folder for free from a friend of a friend. After doing some internet searching, I'm 99% sure it is a cocobolo-handled Tomcat 1.
Am I right? Blade is just under 3 3/4" long, 0.2" thick.Marked SEKI-JAPAN on the opposite side. No clip, no thumb stud (obviously). For what it's worth, the action is buttery smooth.
Anyway, if it is a cocobolo-handled Tomcat 1, can you tell me when it was made and from what steel? I presume it originally came with a sheath. Was it cordura or leather or what?
Thankee kindly.
