So we know hand sanding isn't normally on everyone's favorite things to do list so I was wondering if this little item could help.
I didn't even know they existed until a few months ago when I saw it being used to make a guitar on "How It's made" and I thought it might fit the bill nicely. Works like a rolling pin.
There are only a couple of different manufacturers of these but here is a link to the Grizzly. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000DD493/ref=asc_df_B0000DD4932384936?tag=thefind0185457-20&creative=395261&creativeASIN=B0000DD493&linkCode=asn
I can't really say I see any distict advantages over a small wheel attachment on a grinder except that you would see the area as it's being worked and the forgiveness of the air bladder may be a good thing (or may be bad, too). The obvious downsides are the air bladder leaking, cost of sanding drums and potential learning curve.
Anyone have any experience using one? Mostly just curious as I have only seeing them referenced once in a forum search.
