Though I have a phone that has a light and a clock, I like to wear a watch and carrying a small flashlight is a bonus too. My jeans have a unused watch pocket and this light is very easy to carry there, it causes no issues with other pocket items since has it’s own separate place, it has a lockout feature, is rechargeable, and is surprisingly bright for its size. It’s certainly not for any tactical purposes but it is a great help in dim circumstance. I have lights in the cars, bags, and house but this is in my pocket. I carry either a Malkoff MD2 or an Elzetta Alpha. I love the "forked binary" interface, momentary on, simplicity, and durability of these lights. :)

Lumintop FW3A with 4000K SST-20 LEDs and Carclo 10507 optics (more throw) in the cargo shorts pocket and Sorfin SC01 (also SST-20 4000K) on keychain.

I have that same Fenix on my keychain! (I didn't know about the lockout function, I'll have to research that.) However a typically also carry a Fenix PD25 in my pocket. I was carrying a Fenix PD22 then I upgraded. I would like a slightly smaller light meaning smaller diameter and someday might get one. I think a light with single AA or maybe even AAA could do what I need and be smaller in diameter. However I put the PD25 in my jeans pocket and don't even feel it there.
I've tried other EDC lights in the past, I even have one of the Maglite Solitaires modified to use an LED micropill that someone made but my combination wasn't quite reliable.

Double tap the button for lock and unlock. It flashes at you to let you know.

I've carried an UltraTak A1 for several years.
-- with a 14500 battery, it'll put out 600 lumens, which I like having handy when I go in the back yard at night. We live on the edge of a canyon. When something is moving in the bushes, I want enough light to be able to differentiate a skunk from a cat. I charge it once a month, and have never run out of juice.
-- But it will still take regular AA batteries. I keep a couple in my emergency kit. Not as much light, but the run times are longer. (15 hours at 30 lumens on medium or 180 hours at 1 lumen on low using a regular AA) A good tradeoff for emergency use.
-- tail clicky. Never have to worry about it turning on in my pocket, but can turn it on with one hand. The negative is that it's a tad bigger than a twisty.
-- easy interface. Starts on low. Click once to medium Click again to high. I do not like lights with memory functions.
-- It's smaller than most other AA size lights with tail clickies. Easy to carry in my pocket.
