For sale today I have a Pohl Force Hornet XL Custom Edition in D2 Steel....454/500. From the website:
The Hornet XL Custom Edition 2009 starts POHL FORCE his new knife of the year series. The strictly limited edition knives are made in a worldwide limited edition of only 500 pieces and are provided with an individual serial number from 001/500 to 500/500. The basis of this special series is always a standard model of the POHL FORCE assortment that upgraded all the way to our ideas and demands, that is "customized" is. The first makes the Hornet XL Designer Spencer A. Reiter. The special surface of the blade is designed as a dual satin finish line in two directions. Beschalungsmaterial serves as Olive-colored (OD Green) Canvas Micarta, which was additionally treated with a sand blast, which the shells its inimitable look and simultaneously increases the slip resistance. On the blade front side are the Custom Edition 2009 Sonderlaserung, the SAR logo and unique serial number. On the back there is the SAR Hornet, the. D2 steel Note and the Pohl Force logo that is attached only to the Custom Edition series on the blade back
Special knife deserve special equipment, so we have the Hornet XL Custom Edition 2009 also equipped with a lanyard from Wilson Tactical. Of course, olive in color and black, so it looks to handle and the screws fit. Exclusively for this special series we fitted the knife with a Kydex sheath of the holster manufacturer Höppner & Schuhmann, which fits over a Tek-Lok adapter from Blade Tech to any belt, horizontally or vertically. Attractively presented, the whole set in a specially designed, collector bag that is suitable for other equipment is also kept in olive / black. A lovingly stitched and also limited to only 500 pieces special patch with Velcro backing completes the Hornet XL Custom Edition 2009 Knife of the Year. The final inspection of each blade is made in Germany by Dietmar Pohl personally and will be evidenced by the enclosed check certificate

I believe I'm the second owner of this knife and there are very minute scratches on the blade due to removal from the kydex sheath.....but nothing more. This knife is almost pristine and very sharp.....it is truly a beautiful piece! I'd like to get $250.00 shipped/insured. First "I'll take it" followed by PM/Email will get a great knife.
