Recommendation? Polishing the color off of some parts

So I’m planning on nabbing a Benchmade 555-1 mini-grip, a little boring but still. I love the design, but I absolutely despise the painted clip, pivot, and screws. I contacted Benchmade who pretty much told me to go use the customizer. Soooooooooo

What’s the best way to get that black coating off of my hardware?

Jasco adhesive stripper has worked for me in the past on Ka Bars coatings. Might work for you.

Dremel, felt discs and some Mother's polish.

Well hey some of these answers bring up a separate question. Does Benchmade still use permanent locktight on their screws? a lot of 555-1 reviews mention the use of it, and with harsher chemicals and/or scrubbing techniques I would need to partially disassemble the knife (sorry benchmade) to really get the parts all shiny and nice. I would be ordering from BladeHQ btw, so most likely a new-ish shipment, as they were restocked only a few months ago.

I have used the dremel also but with varying degrees of success.
