Hello Everyone! My name is Jakub and I'm a custom knifemaker from Poland. I have a little shop that I called the Poltergeist Works where all the "magic" happens :) It's been a while since I registered here BladeForums, but I never had the chance to present my work - I'd like to do that now :) I've been making fixed blades for some time, I use D2 and G10 on most of my blades since I enjoy working with these materials. All my knives are flat ground, shiny finishes are not my thing so the blades I make are either coated with KGCoatings GunKote or Bead blasted. Recently I started working on my first prototype folders - the first ones were D2 but now I'm doing them in RWL34 Swedish Stainless powder steel. The bolts for them are based on the classic chainring bolts, but custom made for my folder with better quality and tolerances. Everything I do is hand made - I start with a piece of steel/titanium, cut that with a saw and go from there. That would be it for the short introduction, below are some photos of my work - hope You enjoy them!! If You have any questions or comment please post and ask :) You can also visit my website www.PoltergeistWorks.pl or my FaceBook page:

Thanks!

Jakub.
