Came across this photo a few days ago. Not sure how well it would work, but an idea in a pinch none the less:

Or 3 and make a treble hook.

Looks like the barb needs to be spread out wider and the hook curve straigtened a bit more. They might suffice for small panfish.

Wow this takes me back. I remember making these in scouts way back when. We had a low sucess rate when put to the test but lets face it, when you gotta survive, anything is a win.
