I know there are some really good Portuguese makers out there, I have only been seeing the good everyday knives, which to me are what the common person would carry and use. I like those. Are there any well known makers? not art knives.
I don't at all. It's a glorified friction folderI don't think I would trust the lockup on that one.

There are several knife factories (Icel, IVO, Curel, etc.), but I like the artisans and one of my favorites is Carlos Norte from Lombo de Ferreiro.
This is an example that I love.
