Went on an overnighter, only had the two knives with me but used the BK20 for everything. Harvested some deadwood, split it and split it some more, it was great at fine work and heavy work alike; still the best Becker I’ve owned.

A Jeff White Bush one should be in the mail box today. Scored it cheap. Gonna feed my fetish and give it a whirl. That Bushfinger is a good looking blade King

Probably? We found an entire skeleton strewn about near our campsite, seemed too big to be a deer.

The horns look taller than white tail or mulie horns. It may be a juvenile elk maybe?

Only split-hoof animals common to the area are elk and black-tailed deer, could either be one of the deers or as you said a juvenile elk.
