Nice job digging out the specs. Are you the owner then of that sweet blade?

Sounds like a hell of a performer.

Don is correct, It's my Personal EDC model.
That one is from a couple years back.
I had 2 in M4 at Blade Show back in June.
I have a couple blanks on the bench right now also, but both are currently spoken for.
Great pattern and probably the smallest I make that I enjoy carrying and using.
The handle has the height that I like to get a good hand hold on.

Chris I've emailed you a few times.... Almost a month ago.. wanna get a custom made. You there lol

I am sorry. I have not went through my emails in a few weeks.
I am still around and I am still making knives.
Trying to keep production steady while not sacrificing family time is difficult.
I will try to get all responded to sometime this week/weekend.
Thanks for your patience.

The most recent knives I have been working on.
These are the small knives that will be going to Blade Show with me.
In this picture the blade grinds are finished but the handles are only rough shaped.

Aside from the Scrapper these are all new patterns.
Blade Steel is mostly all 3V.
Today I will be finishing the sheaths and sharpening.

I am also working on a couple Competition Choppers.
Been getting quite a few requests for them so I decided to make a few for Blade Show.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Just got these in from Chris. Specs for both are .065” thick CPM10V, flat ground, heat treated by Peters to 64 HRC, with carbon fiber scales. The larger is his Magnum Hunter pattern with a modified/lengthened, swedged clip and the smaller is his Hunter EDC. Dimensions on the Magnum: 5.5” blade, 10.25” OAL and on the Hunter/EDC: 4” blade, 8.5” OAL. The big one weighs a shade over 4 oz and the small one only about 3.5.

Delightfully contoured “coke bottle” style grips, just a pleasure in hand. He finished out the carbon fiber at 120 grit rather than going to a higher polish, and the texture is very secure.
Just perfect!

Thanks Chris!

Thanks for sharing that set Will.
I was especially pleased with how the Magnum Hunter turned out.
I thought it had a great feel in the hand.

The balance on that one is amazingly spot-on for such a radical combination of design and materials components--almost perfectly neutral--and the contours make it a pure pleasure in hand, I agree. Every time I pick it up, I think "it's really THAT light!"

Between the balance, the ergonomics, the super light weight at just over 4 oz, and the incredible cutting performance of 10V at this blade thickness and HT, it's really an amazing piece of bladeware engineering.
