Three weeks after getting my new hip I finally felt confident enough for us to head up to our shack in the Vermont woods. The strength has been there almost from the beginning and the pain's way more tolerable than the 6 months pre-op, but as comfy as we can be here, there's still quite a bit of roughin' it and with an a**load of snow still up here in the hills and the dooryard full of ice and mud, I can't afford a fall wrecking all that went into getting right. Still got two weeks of surgical precautions to go.
Anyway, I'll be carrying my large 25 StarBenza all day and this breakfast most of it.
