Yes, I have noticed that you play it forward when time permits, I also try to do the same. A provided link is so much more helpful than a general terminology or abbreviations, especially for a newer member. If we can keep 1 out of 10 (members) due to good and easy information, and possibly turn that into a 1 out of 10 paid membership, by keeping them engaged and encouraged and felt like they belong, then I feel we have helped our community one step at a time.

I was sure lost when I first started off, and not a single member gave me nothing but help, (they easily could have ripped on me for wrong forum, picture not working, don’t practice here, etc...). They however all the took the time away from their posting and busy schedule, and answered my questions, very patiently and in detail, without a single hint of exasperation.

I sure do look forward to yours and JFK’s post each morning, it truly does brings a real smile to my face. Keep that thread going, I very much look forward to it.

Also, way to go on your encouragement to each of the new posters in that forum too. Its genuinely welcoming, I can tell you truly do mean it from the heart and it isn’t just some random copy/paste welcome your dishing out to new posters.

I love Blade Forums, it’s my most browsed site. There’s a whole world of knives here.
The Fixed Blade & Folder site has reached 38 pages, imagine! @jfk1110 is equally our star contributor.

You may know, there are so many fun debates and conflicting threads too, but I keep away from all that, and just focus on the knives’ content and pics are my happiness.
