I've purchased some knives from Deadwood Knives and always had a good experience:

Recently, though, I had a tricky customer service issue, and we exchanged several e-mails, with Deadwood always promptly replying. One of their reps, Chris, invited me to call to finally resolve it. I called today (Sat.) and Chris was out but called me back as soon as he returned. We discussed the issue, and Chris then went to his supervisor for guidance. The supervisor resolved things quickly and in a very fair and generous manner. Chris couldn't have ben nicer throughout the whole process.

I came away even more impressed with this dealer. They are accessible, friendly, and really put the customer first.

Thanks, Chris, Deadwood, and supervisor!

Andrew

Nine years after those posts, I want to add my good feedback of Deadwood Knives.

I also had several issue which were not related to them (bank and logistics) and Vick and Chris were very helpful, reactive and patient all the way through, even though I was an overseas first customer. Their website may not be the best (please click on the lions with open eyes to pass the capcha ) but their customer service is top notch !

Great company, as fast or faster to ship than any other online seller I've used. Great responsiveness when issues come up (like an incorrect address needing an update). They sell on eBay as digital_freaks, I believe, so if you see a listing there, switch to their site for a cheaper deal.

When in stock, and using a coupon code sent to me which has never expired, they have offered the cheapest deals on new Spyderco knives that I have found.
