Anybody have one of these?
Production or custom grind?
Several YouTubers really seem to like them.
Wondering what the public thinks.
Thanks

they are discounted right now for 225 on his website there, which is a bit cheaper than white mountain knives has them

Still, that's a lot of money for a knife made by QSP. At least in my opinion.

Forgive my ignorance but what is QSP?
A budget Chinese knife company. Most of their models are $40-$80. I've heard very mixed reviews on QC, so a $285 knife seems a bit excessive.

To be honest,I'm really getting sick of "designers" using Chinese oem to make their knives. You can't buy a custom from them, and they don't really have any knife making experience.

While I own two Civivi's and a WE made knife (Massdrop Gent) I've sworn off Chinese knives now.

QSP is a Chinese company that makes knives under their own brand and for others. I think they also make the Finch knives and I have a similar problem with those. (Not only can you get Kizers in the same steel for like half as much, Kizer has a much better record on quality in my experience.)

I wish that my experiences with QSP were better because they do get some cool designs. Unfortunately, I've had a ridiculously high rate of lemons from them. Seriously, I've had about a dozen knives from them since they first appeared on the scene, starting with a few early review samples and ending around this past Christmas. Very few were actually good and more than half were hard fails or instant returns. :(

If y'all know me around here or see my posts in the EDC thread, you know I have a lot of Chinese knives. Some companies are much better than others. I generally recommend Kizer, Bestech, WE and their sub-brands, Civivi and Sencut. Kubey tends to be okay. Petrified Fish is decent and maybe the best choice on the low end. TwoSun is hit or miss. Experience has put both QSP and Artisan/CJRB in the "avoid" category for me.
