Not trying to “tease”, the knife was sold. Buyer and I agreed to ship priority, fully insured, and signature required. The provided address was in the US, but the buyer was located in South Africa. He sent funds, and upon going to USPS to ship it, the postal employee told me that the provided address “wasn’t coming up”; I tried three separate stores. It was an address, which was coming up, but the 7-digit unit number was not coming up. I called the buyer from USPS, so that we could try and figure it out. I even went as far as to record the conversation with one of the USPS workers (consented) so that the buyer could hear it for himself. After further discussions, It sounds like it is some kind of postal locker - not a PO Box though. It did however allow me to make a label on PirateShip, but with the issue discovered at USPS, it made me nervous to ship to that address. Also, he wouldn’t be able to sign for it, considering he is outside of the United States. It just was not a situation that I felt comfortable sending it, and I’m not going to just go drop it in a random pick up box and hope it gets there with no tracking or insurance. I asked if there was another address, maybe a friend or family member I could send it to - he said there was not. As the seller, I’m responsible for it getting to the buyer. A full refund was issued to the buyer and I decided to keep it, as I sold 3 other knives which covered the repair cost for the Jeep that I crashed, which is what prompted me to list the knife in the first place. This isn’t a knife I’ve owned for a long time - I purchased it recently because it reminded me of fishing with my grandfather. I really did not want to have to sell it but was going to in order to repair the vehicle. I hope that helps clear things up.

Thank you. I mean, I know the buyer was/is disappointed and said he’s had hundreds of knives shipped there, and I have no reason to doubt him. He’s been beyond friendly and patient with me but I just can’t stick an irreplaceable knife in a drop box or send it to an address that isn’t coming up in USPS’s system, and them not insuring it for the sale value.

I’m sorry they are not. The only small sebenza I have now is a bog oak. Beautiful knife. Has some extras available with it as well (lanyard, lanyard filler tab, leather slip, hawk clip, deep carry clip, ect).
