Looking for knife pics, cause I haven't posted any for some weeks...... Here is my Niner with the coating still under the scales.....I'm pretty happy with the forced patina. I've had it for awhile, and No problems.

You can also use nail polish as a resist and create cool patterns or lettering and such, and after the etch, clean it off with acetone.

Noice, I'm doing this with my next blade. So you draw the pattern with nail polish, and then soak in hot apple cider vinegar or what did you soak it in with this blade.

And can you show me the vinegar and crushed rock salt patina.
