Traditional giveaway, rules are as easy as A, B, C. Please list your preference by stating A, B, C or C, B, A, or B A C or whatever your rank order preference is should your post be chosen. If you have been the recipient of other giveaways, please enter anyway, I have been lucky to win giveaways on BF that resulted in meaningful friendships that are far more valuable than the items involved. Peregrin (Gary) has agreed to choose the winners using their post number and random.org. @ Gary, please do the selection this coming Monday to allow entries through the weekend.
The "A" prize, a beautiful Lloyd ivory hafted knife gifted to me by Duncan, one that he carried and one that I have carried. With Duncan's permission, to celebrate his successful surgery, it is being re-gifted to someone who will hopefully appreciate a knife that has been carried and used. Even though it is "broken in", the pull remains stout, 8-9 on my scale. Since taking this photo I have given it a fluff and buff and stropped the 52100 to a wicked edge.
The "B" prize is a knife I recently picked up from Jeff on the exchange, a new in the tube GEC orange crush acrylic moose. 6-7 pull.
The "C" prize is a new in the box Case stag mini trapper in CV. Pull on this one is a 3-4 and pinchable, good for us older folks with a little arthritis. I hand selected this one for it's lack of the "Rancher" etching and the stag matches well on both sides.
As a consolation prize and to support the forum, non-winning basic members will be thrown into the hat for a Gold membership on my nickle. Thanks and good luck.
