Hey there - I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to ask, but I have a question for your about a knife that I just inherited from my grandfather. I read your paper (very well done) and this is what I have gathered about this piece:

- It is a post-1979 model with a "Banner Etch" and "Eye over Germany" tang stamp. The other side of the blade shows "D.R.G.M" over "1423923"
- There is no shield and the handle looks to be some sort of dark wood

Would this be considered a "Three Eye" knife?

Thank you so much!!! I’ve been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to date the older Eye Brand knives.
