Currently looking for a reasonably low priced EDC karambit to keep behind my waist band or belt. Blade needs to be less than 3.5 inches, but I'd like it to be 3.5 or as close to it as possible. Definitely trying to find a full tang fixed blade. Any suggestions?

Try the SOG gambit
I carry it and it is very light, easily concealed and quick to deploy. The sheath can be adjusted to any carry position and it is inexpensive.

I've been kind of looking into Karambits for a while and was going to get the Max Venom Karambite because of the ease of concealment but that SOG looks good. Is it more like the older SOG models which were good quality or some mall ninja garbage? My biggest requirements for a Karambit to carry are that it has to be a reasonable price and not a folder

I'll be honest
It first came out a few years ago at wally world
It was half the price it's now.
But it works, it's dependable and it was inexpensive.
I still carry it

Ryan Weeks "u trap" karambit is not inexpensive at 450 bucks but it really is a quality tool with well thought out ergos. If it's within your budget constraints, get it.

I am currently thinking of getting the MTECH Karambit that they have, its 440, So ITS not terrible or wonderful, SOG seems to use 7cr17mov steel, and as I understand it, they are basically the same steel. Anybody know anything about the mtech 665BT Karambit? It seems decent enough for its price, and it should work well with EDC as far as I can tell.
