So much for U.S. Made;Unless you want to believe they are making them here and Dicoria is reselling to the U.S.

Sorry I am not up to date on the Quartermaster knives.

Are you saying that Quartermaster has a knife just like that DICORIA one? I am sure Quartermaster will try and say that Dicoria is just knocking off their "original" Quartermaster product.

Fat chance though we all know that this Dicoria was probably made in the exact same factory that puts out the Quartermaster version.

If QM ever alleged that anyone stole anything from them, the potential for injury would be massive on here. I can't begin to estimate how many people would laugh so hard as to urinate on themselves, choke on what they were eating at the time or even have an aneurism. :D

But Dicoria also has many other "clones" from US-Made knives. ZT0095 (for example).

While I know QTRMSTR has been under scrutiny about their claims (and some are quite questionable), I like to look at the bigger picture. If a Chinese manufacturer has the ability to clone a very popular "hot-selling" model, what's to stop them from doing it.

It doesn't prove the QTRMSTR is having that manufacturer produce the knives for them.

For anyone who does not know theres been much controversy on the subject. wQuartermaster has claimed all their knives are U.S. made, that they have a huge factory with state of the art declassified security systems, huge knife museums, think tanks ,design studios, and a lot more nonsense that I cant remember at the moment.Thats why I find this amusing, seeing this ad for one of their knives on this China based site.I cant imagine this being a knockoff its probably an over run of their precious so called limited edition crap...

In on 1.

An excellent optician I know told me how many eyeglass frames are made in China and shipped to Italy, where they get a "Made in Italy" stamp.

"Made in Italy" from global components.

Maybe I jumped the gun, but theres a lot bigger names in the knife industry to copy then those toads. They are a lot lower on the totem pole than most of the bigger name brands....

I have to be honest I kind of like the Mr. Roper. Although it looks to me like a design 100% ripped off of Warren Thomas.

I think there was some controversy over this already though.

Goldie, you're good in my book! A for effort brother lol Jared west is scum.

The law is that if your product is made 51% in the usa you can label usa made on it. however this law is not enforced what so ever. so Jared has decided to make them in china (and mexico etc) and have the made in texas made in usa printed on them in hopes they are never found out.

very bad for them to deliberately lie for sales and marketing.

Maybe Dicoria is the place with the high tech spy equipment ,think tanks, and all that other crap QM was spewing in their "about us " page. This is so funny,i need to add this quote from their about us page just 1 last time; The 6-acre complex is under 24 hour surveillance using recently de-classified thermal imaging sensors. The 8,500 square foot facility is home to multiple design studios, think-tanks & a 3,000 sq ft shop floor. However, a medical-grade clean room and a 3 story-high knife museum with a biometric-scanner that allows/disallows access are likely to be considered the highlights of our facility." I don't think the white house has this kind of security...

So basically Quartermaster's target market is some jerk who doesn't know jack about knives but wants to prove he's a knife baller by spending big bucks on a folder.

So Jared hopes he somehow looks at quartermaster and goes "hmmmmmm looks good, everyone will be so impressed, especially that co-worker who showed up my walmart knife with his Chris Reeve....who knew Super Man made a knife?" Then he spends his money before he knows better.

Speaking of overly busy designs look at AirKat knives, or that knive that says Cobra and Rhino on it. (I always found that funny, even the tough sounding animal names are over done on those Dwayne Carrillo knives)

It's really a shame. By all accounts they actually make good knives, but all the Jr. High marketing BS really puts me off.

If they'd just been honest and said they designed some knives and then had them made by someone in China I'd have no problem with them.

Yes quartermaster focus on the gun market and individuals that dont care about knives in general.
