Quick look: Maxpedition Fatty EDC organizer

Being an EDC organizer junkie, I had to get the new Maxpedition Fatty. It sports the same dimensions of the standard Maxpedition EDC organizer - 5" x 7" - but is 2" deep as opposed to the 0.75" of the standard version. Got mine direct from Maxpedition as I don't think they have hit the streets yet.

I crammed it with some random goodies just to show what will fit. I could have stuffed quite a bit more in there had I tried.

Good stuff. Love it. Maxpedition gear fires off the pleasure neurons in my brain that knives, guns, lights and multitools don't quite satisfy.

Thanks PN, not sure how i feel about the loops on the right side being vertical on this model but it looks like a very versatile pouch.

I agree about the vertical loops, but I suspect its because of the vertical zipper, and I'm guessing that the zipper is vertical because a horizontal zipper would have made the pocket too deep. But yeah.

I always filled up my edc... it ended up getting that fat anyway, this is the pouch it should have been in the first place

Thanks for the post. I had my eye on a fatty. Lol! seeing all the goodies it holds has helped me decide to pull the trigger.

That looks really cool, I have been eyeing a maxped bag for a while and that would be just the thing to keep all the little things together and from cluttering up at the bottom. How do the rest of you carry your edc organizer bag?

Pyro, I carry one in my Man Sack (Maxpedition MPB), that rides in my vehicle. I've never carried one in cargo pants because they have been too big. But the forthcoming micro version looks good for pocket carry.

How do the rest of you carry your edc organizer bag?

I used to have mine attached to the inside PALS panel of my kifaru xray, but I took it off to throw in another bag and lost the clips so now it just floats at the bottom... Its was real handy for just pens and small tools, it's less handy not having it affixed to a specific location on the bag...
