After doing a search, I didn't find anything on this knife. I'm thinking of buying one and really like the way they look. Just worried about how well they'd stand up to abuse. I currently carry a Strider into the field and although the thing is pretty ugly, at least compared to a Randall, it's pretty much indestructible. I understand that I probably won't be able to use the Randall the same way I use the Strider (like chopping down trees, prying open doors, etc.). Still I'd like to have a famous Randall knife. So if anyone has one and has used it, give me your opinions, thoughts, etc. Thanks

Randall Model 1-7" Review Please?

I have several Randalls a No.1 included. It's advertised as a "fighter" but makes a good all around knife (if you forgo the double guard - but then you might want a No.5). It's not a blade to chop down trees or cut metal. I really like the No.1 - the feel is very good and will do every thing you should expect of a blade with its profile. If you want a more heavy duty blade I might suggest the No.14.
