Random Thought Thread

Now imagine coming home to this scene when you run to the bathroom for a leak and suddenly you end up accidentally #2ing your pants:

I rarely go to McDonalds except for coffee once in awhile. A couple of weeks ago I went in for a Quarter Pounder meal. $9.29:eek: With tax it was over $10. I posted that on another forum and folks said that it must have been a mistake or something. Nope, I checked at another McDonalds and it was the same. I'm old enough to remember the 15¢ burgers.

One thing people tend to forget is how much they made when that ammo was cheaper. IIRC, in 1970 I was making about $225 a week. We lived in a 1 bedroom apartment, and the rent was $125 a month. Regular gas was about 27¢ a gallon.

I take a one-bedroom apartment from here https://www.dubairent.com, and the price is AED 50.000 yearly. I think this one is cheapest for me and enough to live a worry-free life in Dubai.

Could we get Badmotherfucker on the Behemother as an option?

The BMF is a one-off badge of honor, yer sneaky bugger! :p But if any CPK deserves at least one of them in the wild, it's this one!

I've begged, groveled and have even volunteered to gravel for a BMF for years, but no cigar so far. I'll even settle for a BadMattyFudger :D

The question I have is, does the Behemoth have the S grind as well?

Well here’s some random shit I got to geek out on.

I was working on a clients house and found this odd painted thing blocking one of the suicide vents on a garage.
When I pulled it out of the vent, I noticed it was some sort of rock so I stripped layers of paint off of it and was blown away by what it was.
After a bit of research online and talking with the owner, it looks to be fossilized shale from the Green River Formation that occurred in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah 50+ million years ago.

So fall is upon us, which means old man winter is right behind :-( This season starts my vehicles winter prep. One thing that’s an absolute is the never ending fight against rust !!!! I live in New England and the winter road chemicals put onto the roads is unforgiving to vehicles. So with all the talk of keeping our blades safe from rust got me to wonder. How many of us are fighting to keep rust off vehicles ??
If so how do you go about the rust battle ?

I’ve been using oil based undercoat for years. I treat the undercarriage , fog inside body panels and treat the drivetrain.
Here’s some quick pics of my Fathers 2005 Ram 1500. It still has its original exhaust and lines.

The pics below are after I degreased under truck.
