See what I did there?
We recently signed the kids up for a paper route. In my area there are 5 routes available. I guess no one wants to deliver papers anymore.
Add to that my kids all have pen pals, I’m starting to feel old.
At least you are just starting to feel old, some of us around here are really old. Thanks
It doesn’t matter if you are old or not, only matters how old you feel!
I remember going to watch Mickey Mantle playing at Yankee stadium in the mid 60s.
I remember when Kurt Cobain played "Smells like teen spirit" on MTV
There is a greater gap in time between now and when I graduated high school, and when man walked on the moon and I graduated high school. Think on that a moment you other Gen xers
Thought it was
"You're only as old as the GIRL that you feel" I'm 29.
Why do folks on this site like rubbing it in? I DON'T want to be reminded
Wut?! Nathan graduated from high school twice?
BTW, Gen X period is defined as: 1965 - 1980 which makes the jokester himself a Gen X'er
Another Gen Xer here. I’m not sure about the whole man on the moon thing though. Word on the street being what it is.....
I’m gonna stay away from this one lol.
I think we about the same birth year. Someone who was our current age when we were born would have been born in 1930
You 75’rs missed out on a great World Cup of 1974. I cried my arse off after my beloved Netherlands lost in the finals to the West Germans!
Who else in here is currently a big fan of listening to Jaja Ding Dong? I can't get that stupid tune outta my head
That is great.
I graduated from high school with 2 courtesy Ds on my report card. One was in physics. I don't remember the other one. I could do the work, but I was lazy. (Still am) My wife wasn't great in school either. My dad was kicked out of school in the 8th grade. Something about pushing the boy's vice principle down a flight of stairs.
Our children are different. My son has a PhD in physics. His field of study was cosmology. (No, he doesn't do makeup) My daughter has a MS in genetic counciling. I don't know where they got it. It must be recessive genes or something.
I may not be good a book learnin', but I has a t-shirt.
Think on this for a minute.
