Hey guys, here is a really neat Valor balisong from the 1980's. I don't collect vintage 80's import balisongs, but this is one of the few I've kept over the years because of how neat it is. I've never seen another one like it anywhere. None have come up for sale, and I don't know of any others in anyone's collection. Just a great overall design and looks, and latchless to boot. Valor was one of the best of the '80s "import" companies. This one was well-made in Japan, but also stamped with Valor's corporate location, Miami, USA. Brass handles with wood or faux-wood inserts. A really nice clip-point 440 steel blade with the lettering "Rising Sun", both in English and in Japanese, still clear and strong on the blade. The knife flips well, and the handles are not overly loose. Light scratches on the blade, edge is in excellent condition and is factory, not user-sharpened. Brass has a nice vintage patina to it. This is a real nice piece of '80s import balisong history. Asking $75 shipped to your door. Thanks!
