Modified Benchmade 940: Just back from BM. Scales looks new. Might have been replaced after I broke a screw and sent it back to be fixed. Not sure but they look and feel much better than when I sent it in. New omega springs, new lock bar and new deep carry clip. Blade was thinned just enough to make it nicely thin behind the edge. some scratching on the blade. Cuts like a dream. Action has a microscopic sweet spot with free swinging action and good lock up at the same time but damn it’s hard to get right. I’ve settled on keeping it free swinging with a whisper of play. Comes with box and baggie. $120 shipped.
