Vintage British Army knife made by RBS in 1956.

I like the small size, the sheep foot blade and somehow the quirkiness of that piece.

I have the same knife by RBS, dated 1954. I had been after an original British Army knife for a while, not one of the “The Original British Army Knife” copies,🤣. I’ve got to really like the Sheepsfoot blade profiles. This is great for slicing, and is easy to strop the edge up on a strop. was just trying to find out more about RBS, who they were, and this was the first result that came up. Not sure how to post pictures, I’ll try later when I have a bit more time. I really want to get one of these with a marlin spike on, also the earlier type with black slabs. Got a Belgian one, also dated 1954, by coincidence, but want a good Sheffield made one, hopefully a Rogers one.

I'm looking for one of these to add to my collection. Any chance you might like to sell this one?
