Real benchmade skirmish?

Hi guys,

I have boxed 630 skirmish with black handles(inside also) and silver dots. Blade is marked as first production.
Also blade on top is rounded what I never seen before.
Is it aftermarked modification? It doesn't look to me like that especially that rounded top of blade. It has real box with stick.
I've been told it has $800 value by guy who has lot of knives. Thus I do not think it is fake.

Used to have one. The tip broke off after a relatively non-violent fall to the ground so be careful with it.

It was confiscated from me one night by a crooked cop cause it's over the legal limit here in va. I do miss it so.

Not worth 800. Maybe to someone who reeeeeaaalllly wanted it. Maybe 200 in pristine condition.

Edit: I don't know about a first productions value, guess it could be a lil more. But I was looking at one for sale identical to yours (except not first production) for 240 a couple months ago.
 
Mate this is not one of production 630 with green handles and coloured dots. This is seems one of the kind with black handles and silver dots like 630-400. That is why I'm asking.
And this has rounded top of blade which I never seen before.
 
crystaleyes,, you are correct you don't know, and no you never owned anyone like this. Laurin google the knife, I just did, found at least 10 over 800$$.. How much did you pay for knife. how much you got into the knife ???? want to sell it ?
 
Would love to see some links to these blades you speak of. I'm not seeing anything close to 800. Don't let me stop you from Droppin next months rent on it though. Must be a hardcore collector thing.
 
look at fireblood arms in calif. they have them listed . I will take 3 of the ones you have sir, and will pay $300 each for nib black with silver, which you said you could get for $ 240
 
The 630s at fireblood appear to have coated blades ergo they're not the same. Nonetheless I will issue a formal retraction: I know nothing about the collectible status of this particular knife, as I have never seen the silver accent, black handle, plain blade, first production combination. I thought it was the typical blue or rainbow accents (im hopelessly colorblind).

Still, the skirmish is a great blade and hope you either have fun with it or get your money out of it.

as the person who once owned that knife I wish you would educate yourself before posting what you don't know. the knife is 100% correct. I wish I could get it back. I have contacted Laurin regarding this, as note, I shipped my knives, he rec'd my items, posted here today, without any notice to me, and as of post time he had not , not, not shipped my knife in the trade. Wow!! I still have not seen or rec'd what I traded for. Laurin did say later today he mailed mine. 2 weeks after I shipped mine.
 
Educate me, bro. I don't have a library of literature regarding limited edition benchmades. I personally don't see what the hoopla is all about. My skirmish was just like this but had a grey handle and different accents. What makes this knife so pricey? It's rarity? I just don't concern myself with things like exclusivity and made a mistake.

Seriously chill out man I can tell you're mad about a knife but I admitted defeat almost immediately in this matter and theres no need to continue belittling me over this. Go take out your frustrations on your bank account by buying more overpriced pocket bling.
 
The prices on that site for the most part are absolutely, absurdly, undeniably, uncomprehendingly over priced. Evidently I own a $1,800 Benchmade 610 Rukus. (Actually two of them.) One is BNIB and the other is an EDC.
 
The plot thickens. Anyone else get the feeling this is an aftermarket mod or am I a conspiracy theorist? Anyone besides treefaker that can tell me about the authenticity of this knife?

Why would I be mad about anything, Do you know what I got out of the deal ? You keep talking about rent, bank accounts, what does that have to do with knife?. As for southernknives, what does your comment prove ?? .. Regardless who did the work or where, you never had one like it. Reading your othe post in different threads, you just jump in without any clue. you made your pointless, you settled nothing and you look foolish and a little lonely. Give Southernknives a pm and you two can work on a video game or something. Otherwise you are just dripping at the gums.
