Just for a bit of fun I've been trying to locate the most likely inspiration for the knife models used in the game CSGO, I've found nearly all of them (which I can share if interested) but there are a few that elude me. I'm beginning to think they are either completely fabricated, based on some chinese knockoffs, or just an amalgamation of some common knife tropes. Anyway, I've attached pics of the four that I can't quite place and was hoping someone may be able to help out. Keep in mind there are cheap replicas already available of these, but I'm trying to find the knives that inspired these, some possibilities I had are:
Strider B46 | Chinese knock off that prexists the csgo release, appears to be a non-wood variant as well |
Browning Stick-it or JKR 162 Throwing? | G4 Stryker and other lookalikes were produced after the CSGO release, possible comalgamation of common throwing knife styles |
Cammillus SKOL? Scubapro TK15? | Weyland Hunting Knife was produced after the CSGO release, knock-off. This is very likely based on some kind of scuba knife given the guthook, wirecutter, and rigging opening. |
TOPS Knives C.A.T. Series #202 Covert Anti-Terrorism Knife (3.25" Black Plain) OR TOPS Knives SWAT Spike Tanto Knife OD Cord (5.75" Black) SSPBT-08 | The HK-1036 and Rogue River model is a cheaply-manufactured blade. This model is likely a stolen design combining multiple source designs. "SWAT Spike Tanto Point Paracord" by TOPS is possible origination design. |
