Hey guys, I have come across a side of leather that is a full 1/4" thick  Gotta brainstorm that some of you fellas might want a really stiff belt to hold up those fatty A2's or the incoming HOG FSH? It would make a great outdoors rigging belt.

I'm not doing anything quite yet, I just want to get some opinions, and to see if it would be in my best interest to get another side while they are on sale :p

Can ya imagine a sheath made out of this stuff??? T'would make my kydex fusion sheaths look frail! uh oh, I think I just gave Wetdog ideas. :)

What'chall think about this? Theres a lot of work in these as I have to scrape them down on the back to surface them properly, so I dont wanna get up to my elbows in it. :D

I love thick belts. I wear a double thickness Milt Sparks every day. Lord hel;p my boy when he is old enough to have an atitude adjustment from one of these things!:D

Don't get me started on them dude. I think all the bleeding hearts who think they are going to save the world by telling folks how to raise their kids ought to have to adopt all the little miscreants they help create. If I nail my kid with a cat o' nine tails or something that is abuse. A swat on the hinder to correct very bad behavior is the act of a well intentioned parent. I got my share of belt licks when I needed them and I never went out and whacked my school chums.

Spare the rod, spoil the child...

Believe the ACLU, the world is doomed....

Can't wait to see the belts man  I'm gonna have him drill holes for less wind resistance :D

I'd be interested. Can you do black with a basket weave pattern?
Looks like there is enough interest here!:D:D the leather is turning out to be rather uneven so I have ordererd a splitter. It will get them evened out and allow me to make the belts as thin or thick as y'all wish. I should see it in about a week.

Basket weave is good! I have a few different patterns. I'll send ya a note later today. :)

FOS, just say NO to crack bro! I'll send an extra thick pantsa keeper upper for you! :D ;)

I've got the list together and will be contacting everyone when that new splitter arrives and I get these straps evened out. Thanks for all the input! Much appreciated, and these thick belts are going to become a regular offering from me. Thanks!! :D

I'm interested, Dwayne!
I'm wearing an old Mitch Rosen belt and I have one by Kenny Rowe, and I've had to punch more holes in them because I'm losing my gut... so I could use a new belt :D

I'd be interested in a couple, Dwayne. Black and brown, plain, simple brass buckle. Let me know.

Thanks,
~Drew
