Hollycow.. Is all I can say on this mystical warrior weapon.. The weight, look, feel, from every direction has surpassed my expectations!

Mr.Hunt took on a task that a few other makers did not want to bother with! I ask Mr.Hunt can you make a BRASBACK with file work? He said " HELL i always wanted to make a brassback"- I said "With file work too".. He was like I got this!.. So here I am dealing with a maker I dont know, who has never even made a brassback bowie before and he thinks he can do it with file work...

I have never seen a brassback like this and i research them to death..I know all the big markers and production marker brassbacks.. none of them i have seen have done one with file work.. This is not a cheap overlay of brass or glued on.. Hell Mr.Hunt took it to another level! I did not even know how he would do it except him telling me he had to buy some new equipment for the brassback.

I have order about 6 custom knives from different young makers and I must say Todd is #1! I am a brassback junky. I just dig them!

I own a few productions like AL MAR(bowie) and customers like Ruana(new school / old school),and a few other custom markers(dont want to put out names- doubt anyone would know them anyways).. I am happy with my customs from the young makers, HOWEVER this one is my Favorite!

I am just saying like it is! Simply the truth and hell I paid for this knife so no reason for me to say it any other way! Not like Mr.Hunt is giving me a discount on my next knife.. Just the darn truth!

This baby is amazing. Like I told Mr.Hunt one and only anal complaint was the "H" on his name.. wish it was a tad deeper.. Hell he cause me to be anal cause I have other issues with my other customs, but nothing i make a big deal of cause these are HANDMADE knives so it i try not to be picky..

I will be looking into something special from Mr.Hunt once i get money in order.. Mr.Hunts issues will be tough! How is he gonna out due this one??

What amazes me most unlike most custom makers is his ability to truely work with the BUYER. I mean he let me lay the ground work and never got fustrated with me.. Most markers is myway or the highway, but i realize some BUYER can be tough to deal with.. So I see both sides of it!

I got a local knife marker who is a friend of mine.. LOVE HIS WORK! he is all over Arizonaknives.. he makes badazz knives but you can only buy his knives.. period!.. He has been making knives along time and some of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen. I can honestly say Mr.Hunt is in his league..

Just amazes me on how Mr.Hunt took a simple idea of what "I WANTED" yet as the same time i could not figure out all the details of what i wanted(yeah dont make sense), then truly made it into a masterpiece!

The knife was received just in time before the WILD DOGS CAME TO ATTACK ME. I fending them off with this very knife! It will only be used indoors:eek:)!! THANK YOU Mr.HUNT!

DISCLAIMER: I sux at pics and gramar :bull_head:

Wow Don. Thanks for the kind words. To give a little history of this project. Don contacted me and showed me pics of what he did and didn't like about brassbacks in his collection. So he made it pretty easy for me to make something that I knew he'd like. I had always wanted to make a brassback but never had. So it was a very interesting project. Don was very enthusiastic about this project which kept me interested the whole time. He is a joy to work with and his comfidence and pacience is me is very appreciated. Here's some more pics. Glad you like it.
