What are your recommendations for a high quality button lock and reverse flickable thumb slot knife, preferably with contoured handles? I don't see this combination a lot. I know Demko is the obvious choice, and Freeman does these too, but what else you got?

I have a Kizer Cormorant, which is very fidgety and has S35VN. I like it except that the pocket clip is too tight, and I haven't got around to fixing yet, so I haven't carried it much. Handle is OK.
Thanks for the recommendation, I forgot about that one. I'm not in love with the design.

Demko makes a button lock??
I consider the Shark Lock to be a type of button lock.

Take a look at the Twosun TS329 Vandal. Titanium handles (not contoured but heavily beveled and textured) with carbon fiber inserts, stonewashed M390 blade, 3d machined pocket clip with ball detent, and multi row ball bearings. It's easily one of the best knives Twosun has made. I use the fuller to slow roll it open with my thumb or quick open with a middle finger reverse flick. The handle is comfortable since it's pretty thick, but it carries well because it's slim heightwise and heavily milled out on the inside. Their US dealer is out of stock at just under $200 but you can bid on one of the dwin ebay auctions and usually get it for a little over $100.

The Les George VECP button lock! As good as it gets and reverse flick, thumb flick, button flick and any other kind of flick till you’re flicked out! Action is incredible and blade drops shut at the push of a button like it’s an automatic closing knife. Truly an amazing piece!!

I knew you would be evangelizing in my thread! Unfortunately, the VECP does not meet my criteria since it has thumb studs, not a thumb slot.

Demko's not really a button lock...edit, I see this was noted above, don't mean to kick a dead horse!

Not that they're at all easy to get, but Brown FSD and mini FSD with the Brown lock are fantastic (essentially a compression lock actuated by a button), they have fullers running the full blade length that makes reverse flicking an absolute dream. Also have two flipping options and slow roll off the fuller, plus flicking out with button depressed, probably the most versatile opening knife I own.

You could have the Klotsi nodded probably..The button lock model name escapes me nkw😵....... Its favorably compared with Chris Reeves b!ades... ChazzyP ChazzyP what's the name my friend..🙏

The knife is a Swiss Border Guard. The quality/F&F is good with a nice hollow grind, but it's a little thick-bladed and I didn't find it a great cutter (some may disagree). I eventually sold mine as it had a very soft detent, the thumb stud could catch on my pocket when removing, and the knife inadvertently partially opened on me a few time

So far I am split between the AD20 and Brown FSD. Both handles are pretty blocky though.

I know it’s not high end but what about the CJRB Pyrite? Very well made high quality knife. I know because I have several.

I finally got one! Burned all my DLT points and a discount code and got a button lock VECP for $255 out the door.
