My brother gave me a Spyderco Endela a little while back. I just can’t get used to the ridges that create the finger areas on the blade well side of the handles (as shown in picture). I would like to get some custom scales in a shape as shown, basically following the liners.

Steve Butcher’s books are closed, SuingAB doesn’t seem to make any that fit what I want, Knife Custom Garage doesn’t take custom orders, we all know what happened Steve Ketchen (who I had scales from before and loved).

Is there anyone I could contact? I’d love to order some asap.

In the meantime, you could just sand down the scales. I did that to my Sage 5. The ridge creating a finger separation was all scale. I started with the coarse sanding wheel on my Dremel, touching a little at a time. The ridge was gone in seconds! Then I did the detail work with a nail file, coarse and then fine. Don't be worried about losing the smooth border. I rounded a contour right into the texturing and it feels fine. Just take your time and don't inhale the dust.
