Saw this today, dont know if its already posted, but by far my Favorite EDC...just got a crazy Steel Upgrade.

I‘ll pick one up if prices come down significantly. Really hope they offer clip point and tanto as well.

Thats exactly what I was thinking. I prefer it in a clip point as well. That would be the only thing pushing me to wait. That and the price point for me would be sub 180.

And where are you finding these “unicorns”??? LOL! Seems like all the good, reasonably priced pre-GSM stuff is long gone. As far as the MagnaCut Recon 1 is concerned…I agree, way too expensive. Will wait till price drops. But now I’m wondering if this new super steel is the latest and greatest, will the S35VN stuff drop in price?

IMO , MagnaCut with a good HT , is worth some premium , but not so nearly so much .

In actual use , most buyers will probably not experience too much difference in performance .

If the whole thing is geared towards rust resistance it would be a big practical step.

Why not satin or stonewash if its Magnacut? Coatings are overdone. I have a satin Recon1 and it looks way more premium.

Under $90!!! Whatcha talkin bout Willis?!?! I think the absolute cheapest I’ve seen them at was maybe $85, but that was awhile back…at a legitimate website (where you can easily return the product if need be)

Sonewashed (not blackwashed) would be great, regardless of whether it's S35VN or Magnacut.

At least they are offering different steels,but thats a real steep price; seems like everything in magnacut is so much more,this is more than double the price.Is it worth it?

Why coat a blade in magnacut, why not a nice stonewash. Hard pass until they stop with these silly coatings.

They are stonewashed apparently, just very dark.
