The knife is made in the USA Custom crafted one by one. Each knife is pampered from birth to delivery. Expect about 4-6 week turn around. The EVO-lution has begun...



12" overall

1/4" thick O-1 carbon steel full tang

O1 Steel with a Hardness of 59

WWII Grey Parkerized Finish

Edge is Chisel Ground on the Right side of blade



Blade head: 4 1/2"

Draw knife: 2 1/4"

i am trying to post a review most reviews start with the specs of the knife and this is straight from the manufacturer, but you keep hijacking my thread and antagonising me while im trying to do my review. im a platinum member and havent broken any rules. you said i was spamming because i posted the price, but rat 1 folder and cold steel oss have prices and nothing has been said. Is your issue with me or is it with red scorpion six? can i review other knives besides red scorpion six or is that taboo for me as well.

I asked you two questions, I did not warn or infract you. I was trying to keep the review on track as a revie without antagonism. Your attitude is getting in the way.

We weren't talking about Rat-1 or Cold Steel: I don't follow every thread every day. Report them if there's a problem.

This is the outing I did with Red Scorpion Six Blades and had the chance to play with the EVO Prototype. I had to buy one after using it. If you view the video at the 3:10 mark you will see me making a bow out of American Oak Stave. It shredded it.. Budda..

The Red Scorpion Six knives are actually made in a factory in China. He was banned from Bladeforums for persistent spamming and dishonesty. First he tried to pass himself off as a knifemaker, then as a knife designer, but he is neither -- just a dishonest vendor of Chinese knock-offs.
 
Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. You can assume anything else he told you is probably a lie too.
 
Ive actually seen his shop where the custom knives are made, and ive seen the cad drawings of the knives. so i dont think the guy lied to me but will relay your message.
 
Hmm ... looks like cptncavman's last 23 posts on Bladeforums have all been pushing Red Scorpion Six, from November 9th to the present. He did make some posts on other subjects, prior to November 9th. It beats the heck out of me.... :confused:
 
im a fan of the red scorpion six knife just like im a fan of the beck knife but i cant find a beck right now. so what about my last few posts. you know who i am, look at my profile. you have my credit card info and from my memberships' you see where i live. what are you trying to say. just seems like im being attacked for liking red scorpion six blades and just want the same privelages as the rest of the member who like a certain blade. lets stick to the facts and stop with the fiction.

Have you seen him make a knife in "his shop?"

And do you really think a total liar is going to come out and tell you he is a dishonest scumbag?
 
as a matter of fact i have seen it made. now stop hijacking my thread mods need to step in and stop the personal character assassinations that are going on in my review. now i know why he put the special message to bladeforum members on his site. for christ sake.
 
Character assassination? The guy is shady as the late afternoon.

Now you have seen the knife made, when a minute ago you had seen the shop and a drawing. . . hmmmm.
 
RS6 likely has a shop. I haven't looked at his stuff in a bit, but when he was only selling the WSK, he had variations of it, which were likely his own modifications to the imported base model. I've also seen other knives from him that looked like they probably were custom, but if so, done at an amateur level. This has been a while.

RS6 is kinda like Mantis. Half-truths that make you believe something, even if it wasn't stated. There are only a couple knives listed on his site that say they are custom and made in the US. I'm apt to believe him on those, as they actually do look the part IMO. His other stuff is purposely left without a CoO, and are obviously factory made. I do find it funny though that his custom WSK (if it is in fact custom) is a lot cheaper than his overseas mass produced WSK.

This same video is on the Red scorpion site. . . So you are in fact coming here to promote his knives, and are affiliated with Red Scorpion 6.

Does he pay you?
 
no im a customer and this outing was a chance to demo the knife before i bought one wouldnt you like to try something before you bought it. and who the hell are you and what do you care. if you dont want to be a part of the review rat face go somewhere else, also why are you commenting on a problem im haveing with a mod which your not so but out. mods you need to stop the hijacking and let the review happen. this thread was move because of a problem esav and i are having as far as im concerned everyone else needs to but out until esav and i get to the bottom of the problem.
