Remington Prospector 2021 Baby Bullet Discussion and Picture Thread

GEC knocked it outta the park. Good luck knocking this one out of my pockets. Wow, over the top. Can’t find anything wrong with it.

I unwrapped what has to be the, uhhh, um… most interesting packing paper I’ve ever received from @knifeswapper! ;). Creative web address at least. Haha

It is a chunk of knife. I’m a little biased against high gloss finishes. They can look a little “plasticy” to me. I do like the jigging and the blades are sweet.

My only comments on value are we bypassed the immediate bump on the secondary here. I’m ok with that. But no denying the fun factor on “normal” GEC bang for the buck pricing.

Have you tried dulling down the glossy finish with some super fine 1000 grit or finer sandpaper? It can make it look so much more like real bone, rather than plastic.

I tried but smkw have an anti Australia policy.....which sucks. Lucky for me I have connections....
Sorry meako meako , I just saw this. So you‘re telling us that they have an anti-antipodean policy? Tell them that since two negatives (anti‘s) make a positive, they should express ship you a complimentary Baby Bullet due to a logic error on their part. ;) This wrong must be righted!

Thanks, I like to start out with submerging the blades in a hot vinegar bath for 2 min, followed by a cold water rinse. I repeat this 2 more times. The blades will look black at this point. Then, using a silver polish with wet paper towel, gently buff it to even it out. It will then look like an even gray color. Then start cutting as many apples, tomatoes, purple onions, and hot chicken that I can find 😁. After using on food, simply rinse the blades and towel dry. This really does seem to stop the little rust freckles from starting, and it’s fun to see all the different colors and patterns from different kinds of food, every time you use it.
