Resident Evil 4 knife question

Hello, new here. I realize there is a similar thread here about my question, but mine differs slightly-- does anyone know what knife Leon uses in the PS2 version? Despite my best efforts, I couldn't find anything that would answer my question, only pages mentioning the Mercworx featured in the Gamecube version.

Anyway, if anyone could tell me which knife Leon's knife was modeled from in the PS2 port, I'd greatly appreciate it.
 
Hi there. I am a big fan of Resident Evil. The knife he is using as well as the one the merc is using is based on Mercworx knives. WWW.mercworx.com
It appears to be a cross between the Sniper and the Equatorian models. I would love to own one of their knives.

Thanks, but that's not the one Leon uses in the PS2 version of the game. That appears to be Krauser's.
 
As far as the knives go, the PS2 version is the same as the original Gamecube one. As far as what Leon has, looks like a Kabar model. But I haven't played in a while. Right now, I'm slugging throught the original game as ported to 'cube.
 
I went back and studied it in a few cutscenes and found that JCS was right-- sorry about that, the handle threw me off. It is a Mercworx blade after all, but the handle is completely different. Looks like a custom job of some sort. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Now, another question: anyone happen to know who makes that customized handle?
 
hi all. i can honestly say that savage is right on this combo. i have seen the mw sniper blade with the ontario spec plus handle with my own eyes. i have
searched the world over it seems to find the leon kennedy knife with that handle. mw sniper is def the blade and the ontario spec plus is def the match. pull up pics and see for yourself. the grail has been found! at least for this particular sought after knife. too bad it doesnt come from the manufacturer like that.
 
If you found somebody who could do an injection molding for it you could concieveably gt it the way you want it if you are looking to get it like the RE4 version.
