I was watching my weekly Red vs. Blue, (it's quite interesting once you get far enough into the series.) and one of the characters had this axe that was folded up on his back.

The two axes folded on his back:

I was wondering. Is there anything like that in reality?

I was looking at that. It doesn't seem to be for sale anymore. Is there anywhere I could get one?

There's a good reason axes aren't made this way. If you're just looking for a prop, like in your pics, then maybe it can be made for you, or by you?
I would not use or trust a folding axe, in a real world use.

Nemesis knives makes the LMAX, it does not fold, but the head can be removed or change position by 90 degrees. That's about as close as I know.

The Gerber Pack Axe was discontinued before if ever even hit shelves. A folding impact tool just seems destined for too many liabilities and potential hospital trips. I had the chance to play with one at SHOT back when they were debuting them and I couldn't even figure out how to securely lock it in the open position. It was like Optimus Prime's severed leg or something.

Maybe mantis will make one, only they might add a laser and flashlight mount, or something to that effect. LOL.

Such a great visual, made me laugh. One of my sons favorite shows when he was little.

I thought e-tools were poor excuses for a shovel/pick. My hands ache just looking at that Gerber.
