I really like the looks of the 290V Native Chief and the Z-Wear Shaman. I pre-ordered a Swayback - couldn't pass it up.
 
and they're doing endura and delica in k390??

I still don't know what to think of the steel, 2.5% carbon just scares me lol

Anyone been using it daily with any feedback?? It sounds insanely chippy, at first glance anyway... I'm sure they are doing some good tempering (or at least I HOPE)
 
I am definitely in for a Swick 5. I've had the original Swick lashed to my backpack strap (for when I ride my bike) for years now, replacing the plain edge SPOT that I somehow lost in my apartment, and the Swick 5 fixes the 2 issues I have with the original one: Sweat/rain/humidity proof blade, and a finger hole that's just a wee bit bigger.

Man it's in my top 3 knife steels of choice. I ran a Police 4 (K390) into the dirt cutting out weeds and the dirt had some rocks in it. There was a tiny edge chip that I took out on the sharpmaker. No one should be using that knife to do what I did, I was just giving it a hard go. I saw someone on YT running the tip into cinderblock with force and it is tough!
