any info as to quality on the Gerber SL (has carbon fibre handles and ats-34 blade). It seems a steal at $60, what's up with that?
 
I wrote a review of a Gerber SLG 3.25 a while back. I'm carrying it right now in my left pocket. My favourite folder for doing little every day chores, as people seem to find it much less agressive looking then the SIFU in my rightpocket.
Very good quality, very good steel.

I picked up a used G-10 model and use it often. It is a good knife for a good price. Carries deeply in the pocket too thanks to a great clip design. I think you will be pleased.
