Apparently Richlite is the name of a company that makes the material. According to their website it is a material of consistent density that is machinable for drilling and taping and is 100% from recyclable material and is its self recyclable. They further say that it is paper or paper like and infused with thermosetting resin. It has a little flexibility and has a texture as well as being highly impact resistant.

haven't looked at it yet..so kinda like a paper stone type product or more like a paper micarta?

Knowing my luck the January botm, since I got my 124 shortly before Christmas, will be a richlite handled 124 with Magnacut steel for $175.

They further say that it is paper or paper like and infused with thermosetting resin.

That sounds like the duroplast that they used to make Trabants, only they used cotton instead of paper. It was a lightweight material, that they say was designed to make them easier to push.
