The sheepsfoot is just a new blade style he is releasing. The only new part to make it a GEN 5 is the steel lock bar insert. Spantos will be coming in the GEN 5 very soon!

Love that blade shape, not so much the MP-1 frame though, so I sold mine off. That knife just became the top of my list have list!

This one is strange-why is he fixing something that isn't broken. I have never had any lockup issues with the Hinderer XM's I have owned. Nor heard complaints.

Not thrilled for this "improvement" either. Complete nonissue IMHO, and a step away from KISS.

I doubt that Rick would omit the very thing he invented from the XM.
