Good evening everyone,
I wanted to bring some much needed attention to Rick Mohr custom knives in Sevierville, Tennessee.
I stumbled

across the father/son team at the Gatlinburg ,TN craft fair while perusing the many talented craft makers . I looked over the bounty of hand made custom knives and got to talking to the owner and his son about the steel used, and found out that these knives are completely handmade, without any kind of mass production equipment one at a time. The trout and bird knife that I bought takes a touch over 8 hours to make by 2 people. As I looked over the knife with a fine tooth comb, I notice that the grind is amazingly perfect, expertly finished without gaps or bumps, sharpened enough to shave. I purchased the g-10 handled knife and it's just about as perfect as it can be. You cannot find the quality that these people put out in anything short of a full blown custom knife for HUNDREDS of dollars. Did I mention that the knife comes with a custom kydex sheath ?
Tom, Rick's son, was putting on a demonstration of how his products are made along with hand making a keychain for my wife as we stood by and watched him work his magic with proficiency. Rick and Tom are great personable people who are making fantastic products for a good price. They have earned my business for being amazingly talented and super customer service centered.
By the way, did I mention lifetime warranty?
Check these guys out, you won't be disappointed, I definitely am pleased.

Just as an FYI, I have no affiliation with this company other than the fact that I purchased a few knives from them this past week. For reference, here is their card. Great people!
