Ron Swanson's Steak Knife

I noticed that in the Parks and Rec episode where it is Ron's birthday he is using a Laguiole to cut his steak... I'm surprised that he would use a French knife, what knife do you think would be more appropriate for a man of his disposition?

Probably a steak knife set he received from his mother as a wedding(s) present. He's too emotionally attached to them.

Some great suggestions so far, the thought of him hacking a steak with a monster busse brought a grin to my face.

He probably made the knife himself. The guy makes canoes as a hobby so I'm sure a knife that looks French isn't a problem.
