Ruike Knife and Multi Tools…How Do they Match Up against the Swiss Army??

Hey all.

I’ve been looking at all kinds of options for a utility type knife with scissors and other useful tools. I want it as my 2nd daily carry knife with my much larger folder being for self defense use. I am pretty much in the Swiss army camp. I want to make sure I wasn’t missing something better so I went looking.

One that I came across is from RUIKE, which is a Chinese made tool, I think.
They have models like SA does, with various tools together with a knife blade. The problem is that I’ve never ever seen or handled one of these. Have you?

Can anyone give some info on the quality of the Ruike knife with scissors models? There’s prolly 3-4 or so that have scissors, but I don’t have the model numbers. They look pretty good.

Are they as good as the SAK models are? Would you take one over a SAK? Anything you know and can share about these tools would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I've never actually handled one, but everything I've seen says that the quality is good but they're noticeably heavier than a SAK. The belt cutter tool with the flat phillips tip also seems a bit sketchy because it looks like it would tend to want to collapse on you when trying to screw something with it. It sits at a weird 45 degree angle even when it's fully open.

I have 2, a large one and a smaller one on a key chain, both are great quality, is say equal even to Victorinox. I definitely like the G10 over the plastic handles of the SAK.
