On a crkt m16 (12z) are the liners beadblasted? I think they must be because they are about the only thing in my knife collection that has rusted as of yet, and they have rusted all over the place. Any tips on how to get rid of the rust?
 
Spray it down with WD-40 or something similar, then wipe it down. That will probably get a little bit of it, then you can use a green scrubbie pad to take off the rest. Test the pad first though, since it may scratch the liners. Once you get it all off Tuf Cloth should help keep it off. Good luck.
