Stay away from this guy. He's ripped off many people. Typical m.o. is to purchase a knife and then claiming that he never received it or received an empty box. So the seller loses the knife and the payment. Another technique is that he will sell you a knife and then send you a screwdriver. And we are talking about knives and watches costing thousands. His crimes are well documented on FB (EDC Deal or No Deal) and in a private IG group (Scammer Ryan T.) He does do a fair deal every once in a while so he has some supporters who claim perfect deals. Which one would you be? He is PLAGUE.

If I want to lose money at better odds I will just hit the casino.

I'm in Singapore too. I'd recommend that anyone who has been scammed by him file a report with the local authorities. It's not a guarantee that anything will happen, but law enforcement in Singapore is pretty strict in general. And since his information is publicly available, it would not be difficult for them to track him down.

Ryan Toh is banned from Bladeforums. He's back though under the username Benzopaws.

Can anyone tell me what name Ryan Toh might currently be using as well as the address that he's used in the past? A knifemaker friend has asked me for this information and I figured that someone on the forum might have more current information on this guy. Thank you!!

Here's a couple of links that give quite a bit of information if you care to read through them, the second link is way more informative than the first.

"Ryan Toh of Singapore" sounds like the name of a character in a movie about a casino robbery- and you're wondering why you got ripped off?!

Thankfully neither myself nor my friend were ripped off...just trying to head things off at the pass.
