S&W Tactical Pen Question?

I have an S&W Tactical Pen that I carry in my front jeans pocket (I am a t-shirt guy and rarely have on a shirt with a pocket). Comfortable as that is, every once in a while, the pen unscrews and I find I am carrying a pocket full of pen parts.

I am leery of using any sort of commercial thread lock glue to hold the pen together, but I do need to do something to make that threaded joint more solid. Any suggestions most welcome.

I had a problem with a different pen doing the same thing. I used a tiny bit of teflon tape. Problem solved.
You might want to try it and see if it works for you.
