Did Benchmade change the sheath on this knife? Mine has the slip-in sheath that is frankly a little fragile, but now they show a “real” heavy-duty item.

My slip-in is prone to the blade cutting the sheath material as you insert it back into the sheath while it is on your belt.

Will Benchmade sell leather sheaths separately? If so, I’ll call them and order one.

Generally, Benchmade will sell you sheaths. Last I checked they were $50 (162 and 140 models). You should also look into the aftermarket to see if there are any sheaths being made by smaller companies.
