My 10 year old son saved up for a long time to buy this knife for me. He gave it to me for my birthday. I couldn't believe it. This knife is beautiful and I can't wait to use it on deer. So far it has only cleaned squirrels. It feels great in my hand and holds an great edge.
Has anyone else used this knife?

Got one for Christmas . It is beautiful ! I haven't used it too much yet. A little carving and paper slicing .It'd actually be a really great fixed blade edc . I love it, can't wait to use it more!

I have its predecessor and like it though I really haven't put it through its paces. Great knife

How would this knife function as an all around utility fixed blade?

It is a full tang, Saber ground knife made of premium steel. I don't think it would be quite as tough as some others for really rough work but it should make a great everyday use knife.

Good friend of mine bought his dad one as well. Looks like a solid yet light knife for processing game.
Guess well find out when he carves up an Elk next season.

Still really impressed your 10 year olds purchase. Right on !

Don't try to pry or chop with it. There are several videos of people playing with the knife and breaking the tip off. One reported that BM would not repair it because a broken tip means the bladed wasn't use properly.
